The District received a letter dated March 14, 2024, from the Office of the Governor for the State of Montana which in part states:

On behalf of the State of Montana, the Sun Prairie Village County Water and Sewer District has been selected for a Montana Coal Endowment Program (MCEP) planning grant award in the amount of $40,000.00 to complete a water and wastewater systems capital improvements plan.

Therefore, the District is appreciative of the work between staff and the engineer that go into filing for grants.  By receiving the award it will offset costs to the customers of the District.
